    Hasn’t that been a thing for ages in markdown? (created in 2004 by the way, so Google is about 22 years late on this)

    Markdown is the GOAT. If you aren’t using it for your notes and to-do lists, you should. There are a bazillion clients nowadays, I personally use Marktext (desktop) and Markor (Android), but I know lots of people love Joplin, Obsidian, Logseq, etc.
