As an american, I can say with certainty that anyone who is proud of america right now has a mental illness at best, or is actively culpable for abetting the crimes of the government at worst.
You can be proud and critical of your country. In fact I’d argue being proud of your country should make you extremely critical of your country when it’s doing something you disagree with. I’ll leave it up to you to decide why she’s both proud of Isreal and not critical over what Israel is doing.
I agree. She loves her country and people and is still critical of what they do. That is a position I can understand and tolerate without blindly hating her for it.
I guess this is where we disagree. I don’t think she’s actually critical of what Israel does. If anything post Oct 7 she seems to be more supportive of what Israel does.
