To me, this is just a natural continuation of the Capitalist shittification that have encroached on the ‘open source’ world. As more and more money, power and ‘normie’ users flows into the eco-system, the original users have to constantly create new ‘islands’ like Foss, floss, Libre, fsf, gnu and so on - just to keep all the Capitalist shittification away from us.
Linux foundation and other core entities plus core open defenders like mozilla etc are also more or less compromised by Ceo thinking, money pressure and will/does succumb to a massive power takeover by the oligarch cnts.
