Chinese-language signs are being removed in Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬
• Kyrgyzstan has stepped up inspections under its “State Language Law” and has begun removing commercial signs and billboards in foreign languages—primarily Chinese—that do not comply with legal standards.
• The campaign, which began in the capital, Bishkek, in April, had expanded to Osh, the country’s largest city in the south, by July 2026.
