Protest will be this Sunday. September 13, 2026. See sidebar for list of locations. Just plop the coordinates closest to you into your favourite map software. Let’s show up with flags, signs, and let them know how angry we are.
The purpose of this protest is for Americans to take pictures of people protesting against their regime as they drive into Canada. That’s all I want from this. Ideally, I’d like enough of those pictures to be posted online to make the news, perhaps even the American news. They need to know how angry we are. Because, I don’t think they do. They don’t truly understand. That being said, I highly recommend covering your face. Smartphones, especially American smartphones, the cameras specifically, are connected to the internet, AI, and presumably will be going back through American customs. Plus the goal I just stated. I think enough is said right there.
Just to be clear I am not asking to block any roadways or harass anyone. Simply to stand together, in the specified spots and put on a display of our displeasure towards the bullying.
If you’re local to any of these areas and have any comment about the location or if you think there’s a better spot, please don’t be shy to let me know. I’m really hoping to collaborate with more locals across the country so we can get this thing off the ground.
And look, I know my attempts to post about this on Lemmy have been off to a rough start. I’m not really an internet forum person, but like, I’m not some scammer either. I’m just trying to do my part in standing up for Canada. If you think I’ve been too rude, well maybe it’s because I’m angry about this stuff, and being called a scammer. Just imagine you really believed in a cause and were accused of trying to scam people because you tried to spread the word but didn’t post about it the right way. I’m only one person trying to rally people together to show our collective anger to the Americans who choose to visit us. There’s no other organization or entity behind this, just me, so if it seems like I don’t know what I’m doing, it’s because it is.
I’m not going to post any other link to any other site. If you use EhNow, I made an event there, if you use hey.cafe, I made a post there. I am not asking anyone to sign up for anything or download any app or click any link. Only to coordinate enough to put on a display of pushback towards the US. If you’re interested, great! if not, great, have a nice day. Either way, I’m not looking for an argument.

I’m Neither US (thank any deity) nor CA, but I just assume it’s not all those muricans, but just their owners. And, of course, some dumdum bootlickers not understanding any of it.
The majority of muricans probably just want peace, love and harmony. And dance with their nothern neighbors into the sunset.
A quick glance at the voting statistics says otherwise.
Roughly a third of eligible voters voted Trump. They’re obviously fine with the attacks on everybody and their dog around the world, including Canada.
Roughly a third voted Harris. They’re the good people, right, who’ll undo all the damage? Weird that. When the Great Democrat Hope, Gavin Newsom, was directly questioned about that, he equivocated on whether he’d undo the attacks on Canada. Maybe there’s a significant fraction of that third that doesn’t give a shit about their northern neighbours either.
And the final rough third. They didn’t give a shit enough about anything to even bother voting. I’ll guess that a huge fraction of them don’t give a shit about Canada either.
From watching reactions both in the news and in public spaces like YouTube or Lemmy or such, it seems to me like the only people who care about the attacks on Canada are people directly impacted by the boycott.
Well we all now Americans are more selfish then other people in general so makes sense that only people affected care.

I’d just say those are the usual dumb third of any nation, that has no clue what is actually happening and just jump on the most “colorful” train or on the train of whomever said something they like (“fuck mexicans!”). I’d arguing, maybe too positively, that if those dumdums really knew the implications and consequences, they wouldn’t have voted him. I mean, what worker would vote for a billionaire to represent him? That alone shows stupidity.
Besides, we’re talking about a nation here that totally takes a dump on education. Maybe even the majority of muricans is too dumb to vote intelligently. But imagine how aweful it has to be, living there AND being “awoken” from the murican nightmare (it’s a dream too!). I would emigrate instantly, most likely to you guys. Begging for mercy.

The statistic I think that bothers me the most is how many Americans have the right to own a gun, vs how many have attempted to turn the orange pedo into an orange pedo with a hole through him. Now that is some dedicated apathy. They can organize enough can storm the capital (admittedly with the pedo’s help), but when overthrowing their government becomes actually necessary all they can do is protest, without their precious guns, like, what, 4 times a year? What a joke. If they don’t care about Canada, that’s fine, I’m used to that, but pedo man is fucking them all over 6 ways from Sunday, yet every day is another news story about how he’s still alive and saying stupid shit. They’re too busy shooting each other in schools and workplaces to take aim at their oppressors. The thought that a country full of armed citizens “can’t” do anything about a lunatic authoritarian president is so laughably stupid to me. Every day that goes by and they haven’t ended his reign, whether by violent or by constitutional means, my respect for the Americans keeps declining. I never knew it was possible for it to get this low.
