I was in a scene like that for about 2 years ending in Feb this year. It was my girlfriend, her family, and friends. They were horrible predatory groomers. I want to encourage you to stick to your goal! Life is so much better without terrible insincere people that parasite off of others for pleasure. Even when their bs was directed at others, it still affected me because I felt like a sellout. It was disgusting, and I often have fantasies of turning in those jerks to the authorities for their bs. They don’t belong in society, and especially not in their career fields posing as helpers.
