I’m at least willing to defend wasps as there are a lot more of them than just the standard yellow jacket. Lots of solitary wasps, for example, are great pest controls and some even help with pollinating. Even yellow jackets are useful as pest control.
The Asian Hornet however is invasive in Europe and is damaging other insects populations and even humans.
