Check out Octopi Launcher. It’s in early development but it’s been usable for awhile now. I like it so much I contributed to the developer.

2·9 months agoYeah, I heard about Proxmox backup and that sounds really nice. Love the idea of being able to take a snapshot before any major changes to a VM and then if it goes south restore from snapshot very quickly.

4·9 months agoI love Tailscale.
The more you learn with the command line the more interesting stuff you can do.

6·9 months agoI’m still trying to get a good backup strategy. I am currently using Duplicati but I cannot get the before script execution to work. I will eventually look at Kopia.
What kind of hardware are you using for a mini lab? I want to switch from a raspberry pi 5 to a small form factor Intel based system so I can run Proxmox. I was looking at the Lenovo m920q or an Optiplex 79xx series machine.
Do you have any recommendations for backups or the hardware switch I mentioned?

1·10 months agoI don’t believe you can import opml. You need to connect to a FreshRSS server. You can host your own or connect to a public server where you can create an account.

2·10 months agoI recommend Capy Reader for Android. I used to use FocusReader but cancelled my subscription to FocusReader when I found Capy.

1·11 months agoThe last release I saw on GitHub was 3 hours ago. Prior to that was January and prior to that was November 2023. That’s not very active.

1·11 months agoI looked at this and development seems stalled. I recently found Capy Reader which does sync with FreshRSS.

2·2 years ago- I would expand the ‘No Category’ category by default or better yet make an option to not use categories at all.
- The unread article indicator gets pushed off to the right if the title is too long. I’d make it so it sits at the right next to the main window and does not move.
