I’ve got 700 hours in the game and I’ve finished 1 game. I usually get bored near the end when I’m either guaranteed to win or the performance starts chugging, or when I get bored of genociding the galaxy.

I’ve considered doing that, but I got her from someone else that couldn’t keep her, and she’s used to being fed 3 times a day with a small amount of mixed wet and dry food. I give her 2 meals per day, some dry before I go to work, and a mix of wet and dry food when I get home.

She already complains after she picks out all the meaty bits from her food and doesn’t have any left, I don’t want to know how much she’d complain after having only dry food for even a day haha

I actually got a kitty a few months ago, and she’s a cute little thing but it definitely annoys me how much she begs for food. I’ve been a dog person for all of my 31 years on this planet, and this is the first time I’ve had a cat. Dogs at least have the decency to beg silently, but the cat pesters me as soon as I wake up and as soon as I get home from work.

She is absolutely adorable as hell though, and she’s a very talkative kitty, she chirps anytime you go near her as if she’s saying hi, and whenever she jumps up or down on something, she chirps again.

But seriously, Stellaris is fucking awesome.

God damn, that sounds awesome! Those map editors were seriously impressive for their time, so many cool things you could do with them. I also liked making “campaign” maps but with hero units and harder AI (SC base ai was too easy but you could set it to be harder through the map editor) or those “maze” maps where you have to keep the units you start out with alive through a bunch of different encounters.

If I had the infinity stones, I would make it so that anyone that does anything “productive” (work,school etc) before 12pm poofs away into dust.

I made a tower defense map in the Starcraft map editor when I was a kid , but it was based off of anti air rather than anti ground like the other TD maps at the time. I got it working pretty damn well (at least IMO) but I didn’t have internet at the time and that was on my dads work laptop so it sadly got lost.

I don’t think I could recreate that now if I tried, crazy what you can do as a bored kid with too much time.

My job is a 4 ten hour day schedule and I love it compared to 5 eights. I’ll happily take longer work days for 3 days off. Also gives flexibility in the busy summer season when OT is available, can miss a day and make up for it another day, or put in OT and still have 2 days off rather than 1.

Not ideal compared to a 32 hour week for the same pay but I like it.
