Mothers always pass the X chromosome due to how the egg works from what I remember. The sperm determines whether you get x or y for the second part.

There is a rare event where you can have multiple sex chromosomes, like XYY, but the X is always present (at least for humans). Considering the genes in an X chromosome are vital to life, even if we could artificially create YY, it would probably end up nonviable

  • Relatable

I’m no longer in the same mental state as I was a couple years back (used to cut) but life is not that good right now still. Maybe it’s because most of my friends are back home while I’m out of state for work. Could also be the absolute cinema happening all around. I kinda just fill time up with work and gym, then turn my brain off during the weekends.

I don’t really have advice cause idk what I’m doing either, but hopefully I offered some solace. Best of luck

  • It is possible? Yes, you can either find a global seller or a eu parcel forwarding service with a eu based seller.

Is it economical? Not even remotely close. You’ll pay a premium after msrp. Since you’re buying tech, expect the costs to be high due to packaging and the high msrp.

I respect wanting to buy EU, but unless you’re financially stable, I’d just look for a local company instead, or Canada (though the premium isnt much lower for most)

Depth of field and chromatic aberration are pretty cool if done right.

Depth of field is a really important framing tool for photography and film. The same applies to games in that sense. If you have cinematics/cutscenes in your games, they prob utilize depth of field in some sense. Action and dialogue scenes usually emphasize the characters, in which a narrow depth of field can be used to put focus towards just the characters. Meanwhile things like discovering a new region puts emphasis on the landscape, meaning they can use a large depth of field (no background blur essentially)

Chromatic aberration is cool if done right. It makes a little bit of an out of place feel to things, which makes sense in certain games and not so much in others. Signalis and dredge are a few games which chromatic aberration adds to the artstyle imo. Though obviously if it hurts your eyes then it still plays just as fine without it on.

  • I’m decently sure profanity became known as such because of either religious reasons or class division (along the lines of peasants vs nobles from early/medieval europe) and it just became commonplace.

I would say profanity nowadays though is a lot less taboo. It’s been normalized in culture (hip hop, city culture, punk subculture) and a lot of people are less religious nowadays.
