End of Line (EOL) sensitive software perhaps?
We had the opposite problem, things edited in notepad would fail miserably once deployed to the target Linux servers. Nowadays git checkout settings on the build servers tend to get rid of those, but I remember it was the one thing that would occasionally explode.
In Mexico there is a phrase “comete un taco” (eat a taco) since a homemade taco is a tortilla with anything on it. We buy 1/2 - 1 kilo of (corn) tortillas for a family of four every day or every other day (depending on the food consumed) and it pairs really well with anything. E.g.:

The salsa would mostly be served whatever you already have in the fridge, red, green, mild, spicy, etc. Sometimes flour tortillas are used, but corn is more common (and supposedly healthier according to the moms).

GameCube games MSRP was 49.99. Adjusted for inflation it is $79.30. The reason things feel so expensive is because you get half cooked broken DLC ridden games as the norm and a large portion of income goes toward housing, transportation (cars specifically), food and education.
It’s been so long. Still a surprise, but a welcome one.

They probably deliver many orders on one trip and it would require a truck with a refrigerated box to be up to food safety standards.
Not to mention that some providers offer APIs to provide certificates without opening port(s) 80/443. This allows using nice host names on your personal domain with valid SSL over the internal network too. Want to migrate a server or service? Just change the IP associated with the domain on the internal DNS. Makes migrating and upgrading a lot easier.
Can’t do much with a cable if the source (internet or BD) doesn’t have the source material at the adequate quality to support it.
I honestly think some console games look pretty good and perform well. It’s hard to have something optimized when the hardware is so diverse. Similar to iPhone vs android. With that said, PC games without some ass backwards “copy protection” and “anti-cheat” will always be excluded from my lists.
There is some allure to indirect references I suppose.
Mario world has some secret exits you had to access by going under the goal and past the ending as well.
At least now you can rely back with “can you also provide feedback for #1 & #3?”
Repeat until all items are cleared. Not perfect, but at least you don’t have to waste time rewording a follow-up email.

As someone that has bought a graphics card as part of a build in these scenarios:
The first 2 felt like a nice upgrade given my larger budget (200-300 more total for the entire computer). The last one felt like the worst purchase of my life. If gamers nexus is sometimes negative, it is for a good reason, we all feel it.
I have a feeling they also had to buy their own components and have not forgotten that despite nvidia or amd fighting for stats, and streamers always having a top of the line build most gamers don’t (as shown by steam survey results over and over).
We have. Stupidity and malice. Doesn’t help us of course but that’s kind of it.
Mario kart sure does though. If it truly is whatever pricing they claim, it is THE GAME that could offset the development costs over the period of time it will be sold for going by past Nintendo consoles. There is one Mario kart per generation with maybe some (paid) downloadable content later.
