Civ 4 was very unwoke in a lot of ways, but they got some things right.

The Legacy games (Yellow, Crystal and Emerald) are all pretty good, fix a lot of the issues with the first few generations, like dark type being special and not physical, and improves stats and movesets of a lot of mons so pretty much everything is useable, Has much better trainer AI and teams, while not being super “hardcore” difficult like some romhacks try to be. It’s challenging, but fair.

But with some kind of video game inspired “work points” system where they have to wear a bunch of tech bullshit at all times so they can “earn points” so they can “level up” to be allowed food and shelter.

I’ve been trying to learn Mandarin recently and despite only knowing like 3 symbols it is a hell of a lot easier for me to understand than whatever this is.

Words cannot describe how much I loathe this sort of slimy behaviour from American liberals. They will ignore a problem while the democrats are in power, but the instant the republicans are in power it becomes smug issue #1 for them, their goldfish brains conveniently forgetting that their beloved administration was doing this as well.

Liberals though, their ability to ignore everything about reality and turn it into their team sport, except one where they get off on losing and think that makes them morally superior to others is just so foul.
