  • Kids will “go mental” some times, this is unavoidable and you need to accept that to some extent.

If she’s hurting Grandma, remove her from Grandma and say “I’m not going to let you hurt Grandma” and if she goes mental sit quietly with her till she is calm. In that state she can not be reasoned with no matter how hard you try, so don’t. When she’s calm explain what she did to hurt Grandma. This needs to be done immediately after she hurts Grandma, not later. Kids that age can not link past behavior to future punishment.

Kids also find it easier to understand what to do vs what not not do. Show her how you want her to play instead of telling her what not to do.

As far as time outs go consistency is everything. If you’re consistent it will get easier over time. General do 1 minute for how old they are. 1 year old = q minute of timeout, 7 years old = 7 minutes.

  • I think Boston vs. OKC is the most likely Finals outcome, with OKC winning and Shai being MVP.

I think the Hornets “upset” the pistons in the first round. I’ve watched a couple Hornets games and they’re looking great, plus idk is Cade will be healthy enough.

I think Lakers beat the spurs in the second round. As a Lakers fan I’m not looking forward to this matchup but, as a basketball fan its super interesting. The Spurs are clearly a better team but have basically no playoff experience. On the other hand, 4 of the 5 Lakers starters have played in the Finals before. Its the ultimate experience vs talent matchup.

  • No, I just don’t think Fred is that much better than Reed Shepherd. It’s not like Fred is Luka or something. We’ve never seen FVV and Durant play together though, so I might be way off here. It might also be a coaching issue. That also doesn’t explain why the Suns are better this season.

What I’m asking though, is Kevin Durant just a toxic player? Every team he’s on turns to shit at some point, when is it just Durant that’s the problem. On the other hand, every team with Brooks on it seems to have great chemistry. It’s a lot easier to play good team basketball when you actually like your team.
