Darmok and Jalad, at Tangara?
It was just a nibble!
Later: We all have 8 different flavors of cancer from these
That’s probably the best explanation I’ve seen, thanks.
Thanks, correction added!
I haven’t tried it yet, that’s why I didn’t mention it. Hopefully it’s the same!
Are we pretending this wasn’t an issue in the previous XCOM: Enemy Unknown? Or is it just that much worse in 2?
Also I don’t know which of these is the most ridiculous. Maybe R6.
Shoutout to the original STALKER games for having good ballistics.
It’s the same situation as if the president became ill or incapacitated in some way.
This has already happened 3 4 times; once for Reagan, twice for GW Bush, and once for Biden (see comment below). In these cases it was quite brief.
Wood Science must be a rather strange field.
1 mL of pure water weighs exactly 1 g at 20 °C and 1 atm pressure :) It’s a defined standard, useful for calibrating other things.
1 mL. Studying chemistry has made that extremely useful and now other units seem ridiculous.
If we’re talking about geology or oceanography though, cubic meters are fine.

(Edit: quoted the whole passage previously but that’s not really necessary)
There’s a trans/egg joke in here somewhere…
This is how I feel a lot of times. But I did at least have the sense to go for Endeavour rather than straight to Arch (and prior to that, Manjaro and Ubuntu).
These are nice and all, but honestly the main issue I’ve seen as a new player (PC) is NPCs clipping through floors. They’ll just be standing there waist-deep in the ground.
I know that’s pretty minor compared to the T-posing and broken pathing way back at launch, but it’s still fairly disruptive, especially if it happens in a story mission.
Misread this as MO (Missouri) for a sec and I was ready to be flabbergasted.
Anyway, good job Maryland!
What were some of the things that nibbled away at ya?
