Same idea. Almonds were an example.

Stomping on them would be legal.
The idea is to prevent people from spreading invasive species, but in this case, the law is backfiring because it’s not people spreading the invasive species. It’s already here and spreading on its own.
Or they just blithely assume that it will all go back to normal in four years and choose to ignore it.
Some of us know and are incredibly frustrated and disheartened by it, but we’re still the minority. The state has a monopoly on violence at any meaningful scale. What are we supposed to do while we wait for the rest of the country to wake up? All we can do is talk about it and try to get them to see what’s happening.
You could probably commission an artist to reproduce it for you (obviously it wouldn’t be exactly the same), but expect high prices for custom artwork. Painting takes time and expensive materials.
It’s part of a startling pattern of retribution waged on federal government employees, following the forced ousters of a group of senior FBI executives earlier this week as well as a mass firing by the justice department of prosecutors on special counsel Jack Smith’s team who investigated Trump.
Startling? Really? Trump has said he was going to go after those who “targeted” him. The only thing startling is how rapidly and, distressingly, effective the attack has been. He’s been planning this retribution for years.
Heaven forbid we ever run low on almonds. 🙄
I’d lose that battle.
That employee doesn’t seem to have expressed surprise.
It’s such a helpless feeling watching our democracy be rapidly dismantled.
European green crabs have started expanding into Puget Sound here in Washington in recent years. Part of the problem is that some people–such as myself–would happily catch and eat them, but as an invasive species, they’re illegal to catch/possess. I imagine our huge Asian population would also happily eat them. The fish and wildlife department really ought to carve out an exception so that we can all help slow their spread. They have the potential to destroy our native dungeness crab population (the green crabs eat the baby dungeness crabs), which is a huge commercial and recreational fishery.
Doesn’t meet his minimum pollution requirements.
I don’t suppose you can share in a form that isn’t TikTok?
It’s too important a source of income for them to do that.
My first thought is, it is against their oaths for any military personnel to follow this sort of order.
My second thought is, what can the rest of us do about it if they don’t follow their oaths?
Oh yeah, I would. There’s a big Chinese population in my area, so it’s kind of a big deal. Last year, I made the mistake of trying to buy a lobster when it was coincidentally Chinese New Year. I had the option of these little bitty things or monsters six plus pounds.
I had not known that their red color after being cooked makes them popular during the new year.
Completely deranged.
Pet toothbrush?
