I agree with everything you said 100%, except the bit about how if voting worked it’d be illegal. Republicans are literally trying to make it that way. One of their main goals is to disenfranchise as many poor people and minorities as possible, bc if everyone voted, republicans would lose every election by a landslide. That’s why they love things like manually registering to vote, randomly deregistering people, the electoral college, and hand counting ballots, while opposing mail-in and absentee ballots, automatic voter registration, RCV, basically anything that gives Americans more voting power. Voting is very much the least you can do to affect change in America, but it is still a thing you can and should do regularly before republicans abolish it

I’ll concede that the situation in the UK might not be genocide yet, I don’t know if conversion therapy is done there, but it should be obvious enough where they’re going that I don’t understand why you’d argue it’s not genocide. Who benefits from you saying “it’s not genocide yet, so don’t say that word until it’s too late and you’re all rounded up and killed”? “The transgender community is silently facing genocide” might be a better headline, bc it’s right on the horizon there and already happening in some US states

Trying to deny healthcare and rights to trans people while politicians and terfs try to get us all locked up, sterilized, or killed, definitely not genocide. Tbf there’s no instance one could go to where they aren’t liable to be banned for looking at a mod wrong, it’s just about what flavor of power trip you want from your mods. .world is no exception, but I haven’t been permabanned from much there (other than a couple permas I earned bc I was an asshole there)
