Zlib still works great for me. There are always alternative links when something is down. I use Fmhy to find alternative links or other resources that are generally up to date.

Yea that’s true. You also have to wait ages to get an appointment. You pay for the appointment and for the administrative fee, and do tons of paperwork that may take months and cost more money and most likely they wouldn’t give the Visa anyway. There’s another circle of hell that is government websites. I literally had to spend minutes each time solving 10 difficult capchas every time I want to sign in to the French Visa website. It also clears your session after a few mins of inactivity or when just browsing something else and you have to do the entire processes again. So imagine spending time to fill complex forms and then trying to click next only to be signed off and have to do the entire thing again
