I think you’re a bit selfish. But not broken. I’m the same way so I’m not judging you. I do the exact same thing. It can cause issues in my relationships at times.

I try my best to objectively appreciate what I have and those around me. Try going out of your way to show appreciation to others, even if you don’t immediately feel it yourself. Sometimes the feeling of appreciating others comes after you demontrate to them and to yourself that you care.

27 is probably around where you’ll start to notice accelerating aging and muscular skeletal pain. Obviously it’ll just get worse as you age but 27 isn’t unreasonable to start noticing.

The last model they made was 2019. I highly doubt we’ll see a refresh.

I would recommend hard power cycling the TV and re-evaluating. For example, on both my TCL Roku and LG WebOS TVs, home screen ads are completely eliminated with pihole dns blocking. Additionally, I got rid of home screen ads on my Nvidia shield and other devices.

Make sure that you’re blocking the right domains.

Edit: before anyone says “but why even connect the TV to the Internet at all?” - the reason is because you’re likely to get the best HDR quality (especially Dolby Vision) from the TV’s native streaming apps. Dolby vision is an absolute fucking disaster on external devices and barely works at all on Windows (if at all.)

Have you ever looked at OLED TV prices? This is absolutely a normal price.

No offense but isn’t this something you can simply find out by reading the directions for the test? It should show examples of positive results, similar to covid tests where it shows you that a faint line is still positive.
