Well, you know what they say; everyone’s got cancer according to WebMD…
Does it still let you sign in locally if you disable network interfaces in BIOS?
Don’t think so. The setup itself can’t complete without internet.
I’ve overclocked your GPU by 60mhz
What? Did you overclock core or memory? Would overclocking by 60mhz even make a difference in both cases? Did you adjust the voltage accordingly?
I don’t know shit about overclocking and yet I still know that it’s half-assing it
And DLSS Frame Gen is more of a last resort to get the most FPS out of your card (IMO); 92 FPS without it doesn’t seem that low and frame gen probably wouldn’t help much in that case anyway, unless you want it to hit VSYNC on a 120HZ monitor maybe? But it just turned off the framelimiter… I’m confused
How can an email be “sponsored”?
Thanks. They’ve since released a statement claiming it’ll be back in full operation tomorrow so I hope that means I’ll get to Australia…
Hoping my flights to and from Heathrow tomorrow won’t get cancelled…
I’m pretty happy with Tidal so far; I tried Qobuz back when I was looking for an alternative to Spotify and I remember the Android app being borderline unusable. I might be misremembering things though.
No one should buy either of them IMO. These super cheap mobile devices are more or less e-waste from day one…
Ah I see
That quote is on under features on the article for the original Pebble, right? Might be that the Pebble 2 used a different screen; I can’t really find info on that though.
Regarding the Time, I think the product page for the new Time 2 specifically says how the curved screen lens on the Pebble Time wasn’t that good.
Edit: Found the quote under the Core 2 Time section
Flat glass lens (less glare and reflections than Pebble Time family curved lens)
Where exactly is that quote from? I had a look through the product page(s) and could only find e-paper being mentioned…
I kinda wanted a Pebble for a while, might as well get one now
when that’s the name of an Intel processor?
It’s totally a reference to that, it has to pretty much… Why? Idk, nostalgia? Duo as in black and white maybe
I don’t know if they can really do that since Gemini is just an LLM at its core. Maybe they could integrate Assistant functionality into Gemini on Android that’s then triggered by certain keywords, but at that point why not just keep both Assistant and Gemini?
Funny. When I think of a emotional support vehicle I picture a classic VW Beetle; every time I look at one I just can’t help but smile.
Seeing an SUV or one of those stupidly oversized American trucks just makes me unreasonably angry. The Mercedes-AMG G-Wagon gets my pick for the most hateful car on the road, though.
Gemini is hardly an uprade to Assistant, though. Gemini can’t do any task automation (aka the one thing Google Assistant could do) because it’s a LLM that most likely doesn’t even ‘know’ that it’s being run on a phone…
The resulting footage doesn’t even look that good; all blurry and poorly framed… Not something that would’ve been worth getting mauled by an angry wombat over.
hunting enthusiast
I guess it’s something that she didn’t outright shoot the wombat…
I wouldn’t say that I get traumatised by social interactions going wrong but they definitely get stuck in my head for a while; I keep thinking about what I could have done differently, even if it wasn’t really my fault.
