The entire game is basically going place to place and learning about how every single character was victimized by Shinra. Even the main antagonist Sephiroth is a victim of Shinra. I think many people gloss over the fact that while yes Sepriroth is the main antagonist, Shinra really is the true villain, but I digress.

Personally I don’t care for the remakes of FF7 because I feel like the tone is all off for a game that was originally bleak as fuck.

this game was made with a revolutionary heart and the context im sure is lost on libs and normies but if any of you can get past the niche sports part (its more fun you might expect, i promise) its one of the best gaming stories out there

I wonder if it would be possible to do a CCG and have it be successful while being print-your-own. Maybe have it be a collaborative project where people submit art and cards to be considered for the next set, which releases every one or two months. The central group (and contributors) could even still make money by selling the cards - just instead of banking on artificial scarcity for profit they’d be running a print shop.
