I’ve donated blood twice. If that’s all there was to it, I’d do it more
But the incessant calling. I remember it being once or twice a month I’d pick up and it’d be somebody trying to guilt trip me into donating blood
Like I’d love to do it, but only when I’m free and when I want to. Pushing me to do it just made me block the number and never donate since then
I say block, because telling them to stop doesn’t stop them from doing anything
I tested it recently on my sister’s laptop, it launches word faster than notepad
Like how on earth did that happen
While it did get more general concepts like antibodies and enzymes, it failed to get anything specific like tgf-b1 after 70 questions

I brought this up in my friend group, and, to quote one of them, the general consensus is “is it weird that I actually don’t care”
As an Australian, whole we do say yeah nah a fair bit, the infamous nah yeah is slowly fading into obscurity, to the point where people are questing if it was ever used in the first place

Okay, but customers have to put up with it for 2 minutes. Workers have to put up with it for 8 hours while doing exercise
What I mean when I say he’s a little correct is that it’s feasible to ignore most of the effects up till now and assume it’ll continue as it is currently
It’s incredibly ignorant and incorrect, but it’s probably not going to get to the point where we all die before he does first
Literally had my dad tell me that people only ever voted for themselves
While I can accept that a lot of people do that, the implication that he doesn’t vote with at least some thought about his children or wife was a little worrying
Similarly, he’s also said that climate change won’t affect us in our lifetime. This might be (somewhat) true for him, but for me?

Been playing through the adventure mode of MTG Forge
It’s a good time, but I dislike the layout of the world and how quests work. It’d feel so much better if the locations weren’t randomly splodged around the map and instead followed some structure
Similarly, quests are really jank. You’re punished for not taking them, but also punished for abandoning them. Early game they’re either insanely hard or require a huge amount of luck, late game it just feels like a list of random chores
Also it’s annoying to go to a town, rifle through all the shops for a few minutes, before heading on over to the next town. They should cut down the amount of shops per town (right now it’s 10+, each with 6 items to choose from), and just make it a menu to go between them, as the second it takes to load is quite jarring and the travel time when in the town is redundant
But I’m just being picky. Right now it’s a fun game if you’re already into mtg, but with those changes it’d be an amazing game in its own right
Yeah, honestly after 8th grade, history just became about WW1/2. I get why this is (we have very good records of it and it’s still relevant to this day), but damn would I have done anything to swap it out for something way cooler like Australian indigenous history

I hatwcwhen guess try to add too many characters
Earlier on, it felt like I could competently play all characters and, when i saw another in the field, knew what to expect from them
Now, I feel like constantly learning new characters is a chore at best

Also on something like blisteringly humid 40°C days, where you’re only doing inside service but tables insist on eating outside
Like bro, I’m a person too
I thought this meme was just saying that you don’t need to be in the Epstein files to be a piece of shit, but no, they legitimately are defending them in the comments
If there’s one group I hate serving more as a waiter, it’s vegans
Every other dietary will put in their booking their dietary in order to allow the chefs time to prepare them something pre service (we usually run a chef’s choice menu, set items)
Even FODMAP, arguably one of the most confusing dietaries, isn’t this bad at it. But vegans will almost always show up unannounced and expect to be fed when the only item on the menu that’s normally vegan is the bloody bread
Yes, but making an optional checkbox that allows you to upload your fully legal, self-procured BIOS files would go a long way
