My wife asked me to burn a cd with some data a few weeks ago. I take the spindle of blank CDs (that have been my “empty cup holder” for the past few years) and insert the first (supposedly) empty CD in the burner. No label on it. And it was not empty (animatrix part1). Ok, try second one. You guessed right, animatrix part2. Repeat for almost the first 10 “blank” CDs.

It’s north of England, best they can aim is not get flooded as I’m pretty sure the draining it’s awful when it rains. Good ice skating in the winter though.
