  • most people will not start looking at Linux. They should, but they won’t.

Assuming you’re correct, the Linux community needs to get their shit together then.

    And i can fix that.

All i need is 1 billion dollars in investment. 10 million people giving 100 dollars to a Kickstarter/indie gogo

And ill make it happen in my lifetime.

I’ll accept louis rossman as my business partner who handles the money to prevent me from abusing it or staying from the goal

    It will take time.

    But it will be global.

First year will only cost 150k. My salary until the donors decide to adjust it as source by Louis

Plus travel expenses. I’m willing to have review board and recommended budget changes as long as i can work on 2-3 year spreads with a fixed budget, as approved by Louis and the board.

I will only tell Louis my plan and he can choose where the money goes and who replaced me if he decides to remove me

Also I’m serious and will donate 30,000 dollars to the campaign and 5 thousand to person who can run this campaign and get this started

    This is not a joke

  • In did keto for a while and also started strength training.

I did really well and went from about 270 to 184. I’ve since gone back up because i stopped everything sure to reasons.

I’m not here to recommend keto though. (Not against it but damn is it expensive!)

Why i bring it up is that i had to look at the nutrition label on everything

Doing that for more than a year really helped me notice how many calories are in things, and that theres can be surprising differences between different brands of the same thing.

Some beef jerky could be 2 or 3 times the calorie counts of others just because of extra ingredients(it’s almost always extra sugar) even when its the same serving size/package

Just start looking at the options you are considering purchasing and you can make better choices without even using a calculator, you learn then which brands of which things are better for you and that will help without even changing what you are eating.

Kind of a nice nice way to ease into changing your diet if you don’t actually start with changing the things you eat, just the versions of them

  • I live near Vancouver bc and there are not many decent burger places near me. Not that burgers arent everywhere, but relatively few actual real burger joints. A world record stone throw from just about anywhere nesr me and i could hit a dozen indian or sushi places though

but five guys are always a very satisfying burger when im near one.

I dont consider it fast food, kind of a category above

But FatBurger has dissapointed me so many times that it’s easy to understand how easy it is to completely fuck up a burger

  • Respectfully i disagree with where you went with this.

The devil is in the details as the saying goes and nuance and minute differences as well as intentions and purposes all matter.

Enabling is not worse than driving an outcome. It may be that the enablers are worse in some instances, but driving the worst outcomes is always worse than taking advantage of it when it’s happening.

It’s always worth it to get to the bottom of events and understand as much as is possible instead of just labeling things as “close enough so it doesn’t matter” that’s just going to l lead to enabling in w different way.

“They are both the same so i voted for the ones i find funniest, because they both the same”
