Yeah I thought since I’m old I’d be like gimme the old way, but I would actually prefer simplicity for regular commutes.
But I feel like not even car companies want me to have simplicity so they can monetize more doodads

There is a website that you can opt out of having certain data tracked.
But I imagine insurance companies will use it as an excuse to raise your rates if you opt out
Since I bring mine to libraries and gatherings, I use it like a Switch to plug into big TVs and four controllers. Thankfully it’s all still cheaper than the good stuff for a Switch 👍
Plus accessories
Ha. I remember around the 00’s the Best Buy website had increased prices if you went to the site while in the store. Checking the site from home had lower prices to compete with online stores.
In the future I predict it will add a “share” button. And the more engagement you get on social media is how you can earn discounts and stuff.
I live in the US and never saw this, but I don’t frequent Walmart. So not sure if it’s an inaccurate stereotype or not.
Plus insanely rich is the best way to do things like have people adore you, avoid jail, etc., depending on where you live of course.
Personally I would prefer heightened memory to intellect. But a way to not let the embarrassing moments affect my brain at all.
I’ll guess that the day you see a sudden price drop or clearance sale in a particular ebile brand or their batteries are when new models or batteries will be announced.
“all right Tencent, make a game where you play as Tank man defending the innocent at Tiannanmen Square please”
When I played with my kid I inadvertently read Atul’s lines like Robin Williams as he seemed like a jovial kind of person. But hoo boy that hits hard afterwards. And what is sadder is it’s based off of what happened with one of the dev’s family members.
“I got you Spiritfarer and I’m going to have my camera held up at you every time you have to say goodbye to someone”
There is a website that allows you to opt out of some of that info I believe, I can’t remember the site, but I assume an insurance company will raise your rates if you opt out?
That was my assumption. I never use anything advertised on YouTube (not even magic spoon as I saw it’s like $10 a box). I thought Honey was making money with collecting user data.
But that’s my cynical mind assuming everything is a scam.
I enjoy it for retro achievements because it said I spent 60 hours playing Dragon.Quest 8 for the PS2. But that’s probably because it’s all free.
And oddly enough it was the only wrapped I got as I don’t do subscription based stuff.
I recommend Tunic if you want to be 8 years old again.
It was tricky to find actual numbers so correct me if I am wrong, but if you look at the entire lifetime net profit (not revenue) of Elden Ring since it’s launch, it appears that Dragon Ball Bokken made all of Elden Ring’s profit in just 2024 alone.
When you read Bandai’s financial reports they always open with their mobile games, with From Software titles getting an “honorable mention” at the end.
A better way to put it is story driven games sell. Mobile and MTX games sell better.
I prefer if USB-C to whatever cables become a standard. That way I can get a cheap cable and plug it into whatever.
The important data I’d want out of this is how much money went down if younger kids couldn’t get addicted.
Just to see how much they could bank off of giving kids addictive personalities for the future.
