  • those are all great! though the premixed spice not loaded with salt is something i need to go check around, there are accessible ones i find often at a discount however im not sure if its loaded with salt. for dals i still need to get comfortable with pressure cooker (i will later on!)

chickpea tofu sounds dreamy, i have heard of it but never had it, i will try it and check canned chickpeas too

the tempering suggestion sounds wonderful too, thanks hex-crab-chapo

  • i dont know how to make my own plantbased milk so i cant have yogurt since store bought is a bit out of reach for me, i will probably try kale smoothie once i learn how-to

pickling sounds like something i may obsess over while learning it, thanks hex-crab-chapo coincidentally a while ago i was looking at canning marinating food, i suppose jars will come in handy for me to try to have plenty around

now that you mention mushrooms i forgot to mention it but im also very fond of them

all great ideas im making notes on it, thanks :)

  • thanks for the advices hex-crab-chapo i have the basic kit (pressure/rice cooker - not too confortable with pressure cooker yet, blender, oven, pan) i love sweets but as a way to give me appetite to eat, otherwise anything with chickpea/peppers/cucumbers/onions/potatoes/tomatoes/broccoli/kale/spinach but im open to trying other food that may also be accessible on low budget (most of these are things i know i like but still need to learn preparing them), if you count fruits too i love bananas also but i hear fruits are more like natural snacks and not exactly nutritious
