A solid B-noir set at a carnival. Girl on the Run happens to be the first big-screen appearance of Steve McQueen (in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it role).
Yeah, I was the one who told you in that dm. ;) It worked that first instance, but not this time…
Not sure what’s going on with Lemmy / my main instance atm, but my posts don’t show up. So I’m posting with my alt account…
A fun science fiction plot + plenty of shootouts and explosions… The Silencers is primo PME entertainment.
Posting through my alt account, cause posts from my main account don’t show up somehow…

There’s some inspiration here, but I wouldn’t go as far as to call this a Bruce Lee ripoff film. Shaw Brothers were already doing Kung Fu movies before Lee’s rise to popularity after all…
A very entertaining Shaw Brothers martial arts flick starring the late, great Lo Lieh.
File under: movies Quentin Tarantino ripped off.
I’m glad you’ve been enjoying these movies! Thank you for the nice words. :)
This should be a good palate cleanser. 🦈🐙
Sure, I could’ve waited a few days and posted this on 4/20, but there isn’t anything 🍁-related to the movie except for the title. It’s a fun one though. Think of it as Roger Corman’s wacky (and somewhat horny) response to Gremlins.
Can be watched on Tubi.
Yeah, I’ve heard that Don is a super chill dude who really appreciates his fans. :)
Fixed (give it a bit of time to federate). Thanks for notifying me. :)
A fun b-movie with a lot of heart, and a great Bruce Campbell performance.
A schlocky alien-invasion sex comedy. It’s cheesy AF and gives off major Fred Olen Ray vibes. He didn’t direct the movie, however, but he has a (small) role.
A very tense (and very good) Canadian exploitation thriller. 🇨🇦
A fun Evil Dead-inspired horror movie from Japan. You can watch this on Tubi.
A googly-eyed sea monster vs a group of partying teenagers. Who will prevail?
This space-STD movie doesn’t live up to its amazing poster, but it is still very watchable.
A really solid post-apocalyptic survival movie produced by the king of B-movies, Roger Corman. The Terror Within was heavily inspired by Ridley Scott’s Alien.
