I believe the whole “soccer mom” phenomenon stems from colleges becoming unaffordable for working class folks without taking out massive loans, so parents are pushing their kids to do well in sports to try and get those coveted scholarships. It sucks that something that’s supposed to be a fun way to work out and build community is yet another battlefield fragile cis crackers need special privileges to win in.
