The key for me has been to combine the two, it isn’t that the light must defeat the dark, like in Christian “good and evil” culture, but that the light and dark must work together, the light illuminates the path, and the dark has the experience and strength to weird the sword in defense of humanity, the dark alone cannot see the foe to strike, and may only see shadows that are bigger than what is real, the light alone only knows how to live in the light, and cannot handle the dangers ahead, only together can one see things through, the fight exists within us just as it exists without, growing up in this environment our minds have been colonized and must be decolonized before we can advance our fight past ourselves into one of solidarity with those who have reached the stage to do so, Marxist Leninist Dialectical and Historical Materialism applies to the human mind just as it does everything else in nature for it is how reality itself even works, even space/time is in a dialectical relationship with each other. This has all been most relevant to me on a deep level, the trauma that split my mind made an injury within me that only this path can heal.

I think this is one of the lessons China learned for the fall of the USSR, that you can’t just “make” the revolution happen before they are ready to happen themselves, or you spread yourself thin, and so the Chinese have the saying “an egg cracked from the outside is breakfast, and egg cracked from inside is new life”, the people have to be ready for revolution, the conditions must be ripe for it, and they must be willing and able to defend it themselves even after winning it, and then China does provide help, like with the aid they send to countries being brutalized, including even non Socialist countries when it makes sense, like for example aid they’ve sent to Iran.

I am not aware of how I am treating it like gospel (perhaps because my childhood trauma had to do with religion and set me like a fire against it, I don’t understand “gospel” in the first place), my fears and paranoia are not related to Theory in that way, thanks to the conditions of my mental health and trauma and life difficulties and so on, all before I ever read anything, so that error had more to do with my fear and paranoia mental patterns popping up and taking over without me realizing I was, and so became primary and attempts to make sure I wasn’t messing up in some way by remember Theory I’ve read, secondary, other comments were more helpful.

This thread has made me realize, while my main thinking for trying to actually talk to people online was to fight social anxiety so I could do more in real life too, it seems it also gives opportunity to practice self improvement as a Communist as well, thanks.

I thought I was avoiding that by focusing on just the icon and banner, but I realize now that I may have been ingauging in another form of liberalism by trying to treat the icon and banner in isolation in the first place, as things only make sense within the context of how they interrelate with other things, not taken in isolation.

Maybe, sometimes my paranoia can get the best of me, so I must remain careful of that about myself, even so, every time I look at that symbol my “fight or flight” response goes crazy, sometimes ones instincts protects oneself, sometimes it gets in the way.

Edit: I think I figured something out about it, rather than it being the use of fascist symbols it might be the other way around, that fascists are co opting nature symbols as a part of their reactionary thinking, as reactionary thinking is that which is in support of going backwards, of stopping the new thing, that they would cling to old symbolism, but Native Americans are still behind the oppressive wall of colonialism in the US, so what is reactionary for a fascist, may actually be progressive for a Native American.

I haven’t read much about US colonialism and Native Americans yet (the result of my bad coping mechanism that makes me want to run away from horrors close to home, and preference to learn about nicer things far away, like China), or else I might have known sooner.

Notice anything funny about the channels icon and banner? It looks like someone tried to shove as many Fascist/Nazi symbols into one spot as possible, but also obscure their nature as well, sort of crypto fascists style. So even before looking any deeper I already don’t trust anything about it. The lightning bolt (and the wing looks like another), the sort of “black sun” jagged triangles on the left, the iron crosses, the rain clouds (IE stormfront), even the flowers (anarchist rose), and rainbow (CIA uses minority rights as an excuse to invade), and finally the bird (like the use of the eagle), makes me think there is no way it is accidental.

Dam, I gotta get around to reading that one, looks really good. I’ve got it as a pdf sitting in a big folder full of based resources, but I’ve got such a backlog to go through. I’ve got to get myself to stop procrastinating so much, I wont be satisfied if I don’t read it all, it is like my own brain is in a constant state of fighting itself and I’m certain somewhere in all of this Theory lies the key to finally getting it to stop infighting, I just haven’t found more than hints yet.

China is actually working on all three at once: wearable, under the skull but not in the brain (think closer electrode, without skull, skin and hair in the way), and in the brain, each of the three has pros and cons, so it makes sense to work on all as that way you can take only the amount of risk as the need for the device justifies.

There is that and then there is the fact that the US and co almost certainly wants a literal Mind-Control device no matter what they claim, but China actually wants the Mind to remain in Control rather than Controlled, and the focus is on medical advancements for human benefit. The US will charge an arm and a leg for such, but medical purposes (or rather Medical Expenses) is secondary to how the Capitalists use anything and everything to maintain control over humanity and remove threats to their hegemonic control of the world.

An example of the US use case is in how they took “Alligator Alcatraz” Concentration Camp victims and used them for Neuralink experimentation.

I agree with you and did mean to come off as saying revolution was totally guaranteed, I might have been caught up in the need to demonstrate optimism such that I didn’t make it fully clear, the same conditions that disillusion and make it easier for us to reach people and not just get ignored, also serves reaction and help them make new fascists, so we can’t afford to slow in our own efforts, we need to reach as many as can be reached before things get too bad, for the best chances.

It’s very funny to watch. Very “tis but a flesh wound” kind of energy.

It’s the accumulation of a quantity before the point in which a transformation in quality occurs, the conditions are growing more favorable for actual Socialism, and as more burn out on fake “socialism” they will be more receptive to the real deal. Behind the growth of “socialism” there are Marxist Leninists slipstreaming to catch those thrown off the “socialist” bus by disillusionment.

It’s not a binary, “is” or “isn’t” thing, the socdems represent the fear of the ruling class to appease the masses and cool revolutionary energy before it boils over, they are a weather vein that is showing that the winds are changing direction.

There are more decades in weeks ahead of us, even if the pendulum sometimes swings back to weeks in decades. (or at least seemingly)

This also demonstrates why the Capitalists (those who hold Capital) are so out of touch with humanity as a whole, they are the closest to their god, Capital, than anyone else, and thus are it’s greatest personification of it’s nature. It’s very embodiment of alienation, seeing everything within the binary view of “those that exploit” and the “cattle to be exploited”. And yet at the same time they are not really in charge, they are puppets to their god, Capital, this thing that isn’t sentient, isn’t even alive, but that has rules, rules that they too are forced to follow lest they become “lowly cattle” like the rest of us, and the closer they are to Capital, the further from humanity they become and may even see it’s loss as a “fate worse than death”.

And so from their twisted view, a billion people, “cattle”, dead, is a small price to pay if it can even give them just a small chance of staying close to Capital, and protecting it against the rebellion of humanity casting off it’s yoke. Making us Communists, who seek to free humanity, and who has the tools to do so, it’s greatest enemy.

Of course we Communists know that the seeds of a systems destruction exists within that very system, and that the death, one way or another, of that system is inevitable, as nothing is eternal, but for the Capitalists who are closest to Capital, seeing the death of the system the same as if it was their own death, and who have little connection with humanity for which they are so a odds with, see it’s death as the death of everything, as it is all they hold dear, all that matters to them, and so terror drives them to mythology, to see Capitalism as eternal, or at least as something they can make eternal, to keep the reality of it’s loss at bay. It is also why when it is collapsing they get more and more unhinged, they are checking themselves out from reality as they get more desperate, as it becomes harder to deny reality, they must insulate themselves from it further.

Edit: I think that maybe existence itself would be the one exception from nothing being eternal, as actual nothingness can’t exist as it is completely self contradictory at the most basic, conceptual level, meaning you can’t get something from nothing, and that means that anything that does exist must have derived from something else that exists or existed. It’s that basic physics law of “energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed from one form to another”, that some form or another of “existence” must have always existed, but the forms within it change and aren’t eternal, and with humans being entirely the result of the configuration of atoms in a certain pattern, as a result of a long, slow, stupid process of evolution, and thus also not eternal. However, humans don’t exist alone, but as a whole with the conditions of the universe itself, so we pass on knowledge to our children, and eventually uncover the nature of reality, IE “advance science” and so eventually travel amongst the stars, do what would have been thought impossible before, because a thing is greater then the sum of it’s parts as it’s configuration enables it to do things that those parts could not do alone, humanity across generations do things no single human could before even have dreamed of.

My hope is to be able to join the PSL (U.S. based Marxist Leninist party, short for Party for Socialism and Liberation) properly someday (rather than just donating and watching webinars as a part of the Action Network). For now I have a lot of mental and physical health issues I’m working to overcome, with the Social Anxiety being my biggest obstacle to actually going out and touching organized, revolutionary grass.
