If Hank Azaria has chosen to stop voicing him, that’s fine, I wouldn’t force that upon him but I do think he should continue to voice him.

Let’s look at Carl & Doctor Hibbert, previously voiced by Hank Azaria & Harry Shearer.

Carl is now voiced by Alex Desert. It took about a season for Alex to get the voice right, but he does a pretty good Carl voice, I’m glad we still have Carl as a character.

Doctor Hibbert is now voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson. Kevin tried to voice Doctor Hibbert for a few seasons, but he never quite got it right. He now does pretty different voice for Hibbert, one that feels a little more Family Guy. (FWIW I like Family Guy, it just has a different vibe than The Simpsons.) I’m glad we still have Doctor Hibbert, but I’m bummed that the character has changed.

Of the two, which is the better approach? Is it better to mimic or create someone new?

We already know that the second season will be set about 10 months after the first, during one of America’s most dangerous holidays, the Fourth of July.

As they said in Season 1, that was the worst first shift, but I can definitely see how that day is gonna suuuuck as a doctor.

Also glad to see most/all of the season 1 cast returning.

Honestly he’s what excites me the most about the film. I like all the characters, don’t get me wrong, but Marvel has the opportunity here to do something really fun with Sentry.

I think Fantastic Four will be the kickoff of a new high quality Marvel era as they setup Doomsday and Secret Wars. My hope is they get to start early and can sneak it into Thunderbolts.The characters are there, the story is there, I just hope they can pull it off.

If you watched Sonic 1 & Sonic 2, it’s a no brainer to watch Sonic 3. I think Jim Carrey is the best part of all three films.

Additionally, the story loosely follows the 3D Sonic games storylines, so if you grew up with those games it’s fun to see them come to live action.

If you have no attachment to Sonic or his games, you’ll still enjoy some parts, like Jim Carrey, but otherwise you’ve just got to accept the premise and be fine with whatever is happening.

If your main draw is Keanu, I mean he’s in the film, but he’s a talking hedgehog so… You know… Set expectations.

Sliders was excellent 90s TV and I would love to see it come back. I think TV shifted away from what this show was.

When you look at something like Star Trek and compare the original and 90s versions to things like Star Trek Discovery or Picard, sure it’s still “Star Trek”, but it’s very different. Luckily Strange New Worlds has the classic feel to it.

Which is to say I don’t think there is currently a “Sliders” type show. If you reboot it make sure to keep the original vibe.
