I have a Bluesky account where I post art: @9whiteteeth.bsky.social
Or on Pixelfed: https://pixelfed.social/Monstrosity
Say, is that the same CBS News who’s parent company, Paramount, is currently in talks to settle a legal dispute with Heir Trump because he didn’t like their accurate reporting about him so he sued?
Why yes, yes it is!
Where I live, a city in the PNW, Fred Meyer (Kroger) cheap ass eggs are around $7. $7.50 at Safeway. Even Winco and Trader Joe’s eggs are around $5/6 a dozen.
I’m not sure where you live, but I’m guessing it’s less densely populated or has easier access to diary farms.
Or you shop online for food, which, no, I’m not doing that.
Hey, I still have that exact iMac on my garage!

Well, I don’t see, “Sieg Heil at the Presidential Inauguration,” on that list.
Checkmate, liberals!
I am an artist & I agree, actually.
I do think it’s problematic that corpos are using AI to replace working artists, although that’s a systemic issue affecting a lot of disciplines.
That said, and I will get hate for this, there is a case to be made that if artists were more creative and interesting in general, they wouldn’t be so easily displaced by AI slop.
This Nazi shit makes me want to puke.
These fucking losers.
You’re right about this. I was commenting in the context of “intellectual property”.
Trump Inaguration Day.
There is an entire sub-genre in Comics of cartoons riffing on Garfield like this one. Nearly every cartoonist has done it and, oh my lord, it fills me with joy & reminds me why I actually love people.
The big difference is Deepseek is open sourced, which ALL of these models should be because they used our collective knowledge and culture to create them.
I like AI but the single biggest issue is how it is being gated off and abused by Capitalists for profit (It’s kind of their thing).
Now see, I wouldn’t know because I don’t check prices on the Internet. I just go, buy some shit if it’s there, if it’s not, I get annoyed & maybe try somewhere else if it’s important enough for me at that moment.
I guess I just don’t like online shopping, it feels like a chore to me.
That said, I am privileged enough to live somewhere where there are multiple options for shopping close by, so, easy for me to say.
I usually just… go to the store.
I completely understand this. Mr 100% clarity, that’s me. Big brained. In tune.
I started using Reddit in 2008 (kill me). One of the of the defining traits of the site at the time was the fact everything was anonymous. It was considered taboo to expose your Reddit persona to your irl circles. Hell, I still don’t have an email associated with my Reddit account.
It’s been interesting, and a little tragic, to watch that attitude erode over the years and then see Reddit itself encourage the idea of creating a unique identity to cash in.
Lemmy is way more like the original Reddit & I’ll actually admit to using Lemmy, even though no one knows wtf I’m on about.
Also, he’s a white supremacist & neo-Nazi. Don’t forget that part.
