  • Interesting regarding the headaches. Been doing some reading online and it seems that some optometrists sometimes recommend a +0.5 add (very minor correction for near sight) for a lot of people that do a lot of computer work etc, to help their eyes with some of the heavy lifting. This is the exact prescription that I got so hopefully it helps.

Yeah since my test, I’ve since learned, through reading online, that a lot of people recommend those online retailers. Here’s hoping I won’t need to buy too many glasses in the future, but if I need to do so, it’s good to know these things. Plus we’re going to Japan this year, and it seems they have a lot of affordable glasses and services where you get your prescription glasses made within a few hours! None of this waiting for a week plus business lol.

  • I had changed the default zoom on everything from 100% down to 80% so that I could squeeze more onto my screen for work, and thought that was the reason for some of the issues, and so when I really started noticing it, I went the full other way and went to 120% zoom lol.

Still found myself squinting and things being a little blurry (though I couldn’t really say with any confidence if it was actually blurry or if Ai was getting in my own head lol - though that was confirmed today when I went for the eye exam)

  • We ended up purchasing a new car (I know it doesn’t make the best financial sense, but oh well) and the dealers advised it will be ready for pickup early next week (it’s just come off the ship), and they’re asking for payment by tomorrow, which they are obviously doing so that they can get this sale in for the month.

Given that it’s a brand new car (with all the warranties etc) and that it’s due in a few business days, and that they are a very large dealership (and they’ve been decent to deal with so I wouldn’t be against helping them to get the sale in this month), is there any reason I shouldn’t? - never purchased a new car before.
