@acosmichippo For the same reasons we see today - Starfleet finds themselves at a point beyond where those with memory of history’s mistakes are heeded.

@ValueSubtracted There is good discourse, and then there is anger for anger’s sake simply because people can’t be objective beyond their expectations.
