I listen to a lot of audio books and good voice acting is key. Some of these folks are incredibly talented and use different voices or accents for each character. I’ve even started searching by narrator to find more of their work. I’m all for text to speech AI in practical everyday applications but leave the storytelling to humans. If no audiobook is available for purchase I understand the appeal but please support the voice actors when possible they really are doing great work.

While I do hate the 2 party system, and believe that we ranked choice voting to see any improvements, I will absolutely vote for a lame duck over a wanna be dictator every time.

I was a beta tester for Stormgate and there were some pretty hefty terms and conditions in the non disclosure agreement which may account for some of the more personal information they have gathered. As for the rest… I think you are in the right to share and make sure people realize what they are signing up for. It’s sad to say but the targeted marketing portion is probably nothing Windows or my phone weren’t already tracking.
