Der Wahl-O-Mat war von je her ein Instrument um “Jungwählern” eine übersichtliche Zusammenfassung von Positionen zu geben.

Aber ich glaube deine Bedenken sind unbegründet, weil niemand je 100% bei den Thesen ist. Man merkt das ja meist selbst, dass hinter jeder These eig. ne sehr differenzierte Frage steht, bei dem ein “muss” anstatt “sollte” in der These bereits eine andere Antwort von einem selbst und der Parteien liefert.

Die Stärke des Wahl-o-mat liegt für mich darin, dass ich zu jeder These eine kompakte Begründung existiert. Da muss man sich zu den Punkten nicht selbst das Wahlprogramm geben. (Empfehle ich aber trotzdem. Bei der BTW waren Afd Wahl-O-Mat Antworten nicht unbedingt deckungsgleich mit dem Wahlprogramm)

Was ich eher problematisch finde ist, dass Leute ihre Wahlentscheidung quasi an ein Stück Software auslagern und das wählen, was am meisten Prozente hat

Ich bin so froh, dass wir in der Schule mal das ganze Wahl ding durchgespielt hatten und unser Lehrer uns quasi die Anleitung für “Wie benutzt man den Wahl-O-Mat richtig” mitgegeben hat. Damals hatte gefühlt jeder die meiste Überschneidung mit der NPD, weil die einfach die Software ausgenutzt haben.

In meinen Augen sollte die bpb besser kommunizieren was das Stück Software interessant macht und was die Prozente eig. bedeuten.

Honestly it was enjoyable but to me completely misses the point of book 1’s journey.

Did Aang learn waterbending? No. Did Katara try to/struggle with teaching him while she was learning herself? No. Was Katara the strong female lead she was in the show? Basically the heart of the show? No.

Also I find the acting subpar. The more cold-ish faces clashing with experienced actors that embrace the goofiness is meh…

My goto brain vent book series are the Alex Verus books by Benedict Jacka. It’s y/a urban fantasy in London without being too childish or over sexualised. The ~400 pages each book are easy to read.

On the other hand I currently read “Slow Horses”, the book series the AppleTV show is based on. These are stories focused on the worst of MI5 and how they stumble across and solve a case, or prevent something.
