They did it to to Helldivers 2 and now this… Have they done it to any other games after sales were made in those countries?
Looks like the client app is open source: https://github.com/bluesky-social/social-app
Probably summarizing Zoom/Teams meetings and picking out action items for people to follow up on.
I thought not.
It’s already available for anyone to use. https://github.com/openai/whisper
They’re using OpenAI’s Whisper model for this: https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/merge_requests/5155

Hey, it actually stopped without plowing on very far at all. That’s better than what I expected to happen.
For the specs of what it is and what else is out there, it’s actually a really good price.
People like to compare it to the cheapest headsets out there, but it has specs that beat the highest end headsets out there and it’s cheaper than those.
When the Apple Vision pro came out, the closest device sporting similar specs would be the Varjo XR-3 which was only available to Enterprise users. It cost $7k plus a $1500 yearly subscription, plus you needed a powerful computer to run it.

Basically, hardware wise, it’s good, but for it’s actual uses it’s not worth the $3500.
Pretty cool use of MRIs and AI (machine learning to unroll them and read the letters).
Similar (or the same?) tech has been used to read the Dead Sea Scrolls.
They changed up recently how they define “wave” access. More details here:
And yes, usually by the time they open up the PTU to all waves it means that they’re close to having a viable Live candidate.
Currently, 4.0 is now on the “Preview” live/PU channel. Anything that you do now will persist until the next wipe (probably sometime in the next year or two).
However, they did a weird dual release that they’ve never done before so that, if the servers are bad enough, you could still go back to the 3.24.3 version (although any further progress you make there will not persist much longer).
Let us know if you figure it out. That’s a pretty cool companion!
There you go bringing class into it again.
Still need ~600k people to sign from anywhere in the EU.
From the article:
In case you’re not clued up on your 2000s internet lore, Charlie the Unicorn is a four-minute animated video featuring the titular horned horse as he ventures up Candy Mountain […]
I’m guessing the author isn’t clued up as well. It’s a small series and watching the whole thing takes about an hour.
Or just use something like Heroic Games Launcher instead:

Hotfix is broken, you can only quantum to the sun (every quantum marker takes you there). I would avoid it.
Looks like the inventory part of the backend is back under control. Either they did something to alleviate it, or there are less players overall hammering it now.
It was great while it lasted. Whatever system runs the inventory is currently struggling a lot. Doing anything with the inventory takes about 2 minutes for anything to take affect. Hopefully they’re able to get a handle on it before the holidays. Otherwise we’ll have to wait for less players to be hammering the backend all at once.
Yesterday was great though!
I’ve been playing the last few days. Stanton has been amazing with a 30FPS server tick rate in every server and performance has been better overall on my machine.
Pyro has been okay. Closer to a 15fps server tick rate at the stations/contested zones… It really depends on where you go, how many other players are there, and how much destruction has been left in their wake.
However, this has been my experience with almost daily wipes with the updates where all the clutter has been reset quickly. It will be interesting to see how 4.0 holds up once it has been up and running for a long time.
Yeah, it’s working a lot better for me than the previous version.
Started off in Orison, jumped to Pyro and started completing headhunter missions (attack the convoy ones).
NPCs are spawning in on each mission consistently and they are reacting quickly once I attack.
FPS (both server and client) is still way better than 3.24.
Played a few times already for a few hours at a time no crashes or server errors.
I’ve heard other players are experiencing issues with elevators… I had one open up into the void, but trying a different one worked… And bed logging helps avoid any potential issues between the habs and the hangars.
The UI Aspect Modifier is working again (for those of you with Ultra-wide or triple monitor setups).
Some things are still buggy and broken nothing that prevented me from playing the event, but there are a lot of players that don’t have any missions showing up in their contract tab at all.
We’ll see how things hold up once the servers have more time to accumulate all the clutter from players.
