Gorgeous livery and car, I’m hyped for the season!
It’s a double edged sword right?
Here in The Netherlands, are police hasn’t really been defunded per se, but significantly underfunded for quite some time now. Police are swamped and no longer have the numbers nor resources to take back control. Every year you see their grip loosening. Look at for example what happened during New Years eve, it’s become a national sport to throw illegal fireworks (which are basically bombs) at police and other public services. It gets worse every year. This is in a country where the police isn’t seen as the bad guy, the cops rarely shoot anyone, and if they do they get in lots of trouble, they must justify why they took the shot.
So I’m a bit conflicted with this post. On the one hand, it’s clear that the police in the US is abusing power and has probably gotten too strong, therefore defunding could be solution. At the same time, I’m seeing what defunding, or at least under funding, is doing to my country.

2·4 days agoI didn’t live under a rock 😉 You can probably already make assumptions how I feel about the ending and what I believe they should have done (production) wise.
I don’t get why they didn’t take another year to deliver a qualitative ending. Even when the company believes they have good momentum, which they truly had. They now completely nuked it with that ending. It would have been a god tier series, that people would rewatch countless times. Now it’s just remembered as a disappointment.

5·4 days agoIs that a problem though? The problem for me would be lackluster content and pushing out dozens terrible shows that producers do manage to push out on a yearly schedule. I much rather wait longer, for a better show. I actually believe it’s an ad for a show if it has multiple years between seasons. It shows me, as a potential viewer, that the show prioritizes quality over quantity and that the IP is strong enough that the company producing the show is willing to invest in it that many years later.

And Merz personally hasn’t been that steadfast either. Openly and rightfully questioning if the US is still an ally, meanwhile still buying US military equipment. Now helping the US in tearing down the union by questioning the EU. This statement doesn’t solve anything, it only weakens the EU. Why would he say that?
