I am definitely impressed by what it can do, but what real world demand does it fulfil? You know, apart from misinformation campaigns and the like. There may be some use cases, but enough to justify the huge investments?

The difference between an AI image that is hard to spot and nearly impossible to spot is another 20 min of work in post.
Yeah, I don’t doubt it, but you still need human labour. Not anyone can simply fake a photo on a level that’s believable.

Most of these images have really shitty resolution as well. Can’t they generate higher res stuff or would inconsistencies otherwise be more obvious?

Here is some useful information on the topic. They will basically puke one way or another. Cat grass only helps them do it in a more controlled manner? Idk. I give malt paste to my cat. It seems to help with the hairballs and she doesn’t throw up because of it.

an incomparable schooling for the human heart

edit: Could still be a good book…
but Mexicans loved him
Yes, all Mexicans love Speedy Gonzales. It’s a little known fact that 27 years ago the Mexican government exiled every person who didn’t love Speedy Gonzalez. A lot of them settled in the Pittsburgh area and tried to rebuild their lives from scratch when back in nineteen ninety eight the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table.

Aber das Licht stand anscheinend gut und die Kamera-App hat dann nachträglich wohl den Kontrast noch etwas hochgedreht.

As I understand it the ban in France seems to specifically target real brands. So you can still show people drinking but you’re not allowed to show the logo of e.g. Heineken.
Is this a good regulation? I don’t know, but it might not be as arbitrary as the other comment suggested.

Yes, alcoholism isn’t real and if it were we shouldn’t make it easier for people who try to quit.
I’d also think it would be better to create rules and regulations that are as clear cut as possible and almost impossible to circumvent.
Go after billboards first. I can turn off the TV and avoid websites that have too many ads. I should be able to ignore advertisements in the public space. Clear size limits, don’t allow structures that will only be used for this specific purpose, etc.

And yet there are still issues with Steam having a de facto monopoly on game distribution that often get overlooked.
