I also use this method. Very easy, no fuss.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Do you ever feel guilty for trying to sign up for government assistance programs?
1·17 days agoPeople that consistently and intently vote against government assistance should consider some reflection though. Maybe it’ll get though to them that others should be assisted in times of need…
I am loving Fedora KDE after using mint for ages. It feels like a nice blend of macos and windows but with real control. It’s very nice on a laptop. And I would love to have Kwin on every computer I use

Exactly. You can’t even do arithmetic in the search tool of a computer. I just tried to change Win + C to open the calculator, and while it says I can pick any application, the list of applications is actually just copilot! So I can have their useless search, or copilot, or copilot. Great
Every day I use windows I find more that is wrong with it…

2·1 month agoWhat I’m enjoying now is simple. I have the Android apps Retro Music and Seeker for a soulseek client. I search an album in seeker, find a modest file size, download. I set up the folders for the apps once and I don’t do any more work. I can delete tracks or albums from the music player app too. I recommend this, it is quite easy for Android.
Thank you. The motherboard is one of the oldest bits of this Frankenstein PC.
Cool, thanks for the tips. For secondhand is there anything other than eBay to watch? My locale doesn’t have much for used PC parts.
Thanks! I didn’t consider checking that, I’d just been relying on PC part picker compatibility.
On a whim recently I upgraded the ram to this 32GB actually, from 16GB. Paid $115 and as of today it’s still climbing, at $300.
Thanks for the advice, the CPU upgrade is more of a want than a need anyhow.
Thank you, appreciate the links.

Adding on, something I didn’t realize for a while is that the driver practices the course and writes their own instructions. Then the co-pilot relays during the race.
