My little girl is turning five and life has been really wholesome. I don’t mean to bring politics into this, but I just found out from our Prime Minister that the United States (my former country) is intent on absorbing/potentially invading my new country (Canada), and that scares the absolute shit out of me. I can’t protect my daughter from that, so my anxiety is currently through the roof.

Next to that, though, my kid turned out really great. She is miles above her peers in school and is a sweet, caring, funny kid. Sometimes I feel like she rocks my sense of humor better than I do.

Would love to see the same from the Albertan government, but I’m sure Smith is on her knees with her mouth agape for that slimy orange load.

I briefly had an S22 Ultra because there were Pixel shortages at the time, and I hated that piece of shit. Not only was it way too large, extremely heavy, and loaded to the gills with far more unremovable bloatware than the common Google variety, but the camera for which it was touted for being “the best on the market” was absolute dogshit. The white balance was awful, and the shutter speed was slower than a hot turd sliding down the onramp. I returned it after only a week and settled for a budget 4A that actually captured clear photos of my daughter in motion.

I’m an expat who has been a permanent resident of Canada since 2017, and it’s a horror show watching Trump receive a second term and then turn on Canada.
