I got my first swim of the new season at the beach yesterday.

I tried twice last year. They knocked me back both times. Apparently being dehydrated caused my veins to be hard to see. Fucking annoying when I wasn’t dehydrated. Just fat.
The pathologist managed to take blood for sampling. But the blood donor centre didn’t even bother trying.
That same demographic was also affecting the persistent inflation issue with post retirement spending. But of course that little bit of information keeps getting pushed out of the way.
And why would anyone who owns a large home with little to no mortgage want to downsize? Where’s the incentive? I have family and some older work colleagues who are in this exact situation. And they just bitch on about how terrible Labor is. All the while decrying the stalled house prices.
It’s like a social sickness.

Anyone with half a brain could see the removal of 1.5% of a price tag. Doesn’t equal an increase of 5%+ on that same price tag.

I actually feel sorry for Chalmers at the moment. He’s doing good work. But the fucking seppo wanker completely fucked it up for him. Well given that state and federal governments would rather build houses to sell on the open market. And avoid actually owning housing to house their underprivileged population. It’s no wonder this is the outcome.
Governments are there to support the population of their respective communities. When they only support sections of that community. They are, by definition, failing to uphold their fundamental role.
What this country needs is a fuck load of government owned housing. Until that happens. Nothing will change.
