  • The idea of a social network website that solely meant for job seeker is not inherently a bad thing. In fact, I would imagine if done properly it would be a worthwhile tool for helping people find jobs or to find workers

respectfully disagree, it would, by design (social network website), promote an environment of competition between employees to get their basic needs met via employment under a capitalist economy, a situation which is inherently anti-human

any form of capitalism is a shit idea, there is nothing normal nor human like about entering ever-increasing insane levels of competition for the opportunity to cuck 80% of our lives away in alienated toil for no other reason than ensuring the elite continue to hoard vast quantities of wealth

  • There will still be horrible people in our everyday lives

Yeah but there will be less of them (cluster B disorders are less likely to form in positive developmental environments) and such behaviour won’t be incentivized on a systemic level. Such issues would be taken more seriously by society because the goal switches from keeping the elite’s profits high to human betterment.

We shouldn’t underestimate how powerful deliberate changes to the environment and legal systems to maximize common good could be, the differences it would make even in a generation.

  • Peter Watts

Brilliant guy with a strong scientific background who also happens to be a talented author, and it shows. Each one of his books that I’ve read so far has an extensive bibliography at the back where he briefly discusses the real life scientific concepts he uses. I couldn’t stop reading it even with my ADHD genZ brain and fried attention span. His writing is just that suspenseful, action packed, and hard-hitting.

this post is thus blessed by his holiness st. bhagavan shree matt “i was one of those hikikomoris for the longest time” christman (SWT)

    large-adult-son

the first crack in the veneer for me, the thing that began the slow and gradual exposure of my real self, was learning i was unfuckable

Brutal 1st sentence, may his holiness bless the author with fat stacks if they decide to write one of those depressing modern western i-novels
