Man, this is a project i check back on every now and then. It was a very enticing concept to me after playing a lot of Spore and wishing it were better. But god, stage 1 of 9 after like 10 years or something? I think their scope might be a bit ambitious

At TGA they announced “a big franchise coming back after a long time” then it was slow, dark and sci fi, it could’ve been half life, they betrayed us.

I think you might be able to download that far back just in the minecraft launcher if you own the game. I had a look once, cant quite remember how far back it lets you go.

I love this game so much. It’s so unique, cheap and a tiny download. The multiplayer is a huge plus too. It feels very satisfying to finally pull of a fiendishly clever plan.

I recently let my nearly 1600 day streak die for the same reason. After like 5 years or whatever, the app was worse than it was when i started.

I think the thing that finally pushed me over was the new energy system. It felt like whenever i was feeling inspired to do more than the bare minimum it would stop me after only 2 lessons. And i found in the new content they’d just added to my course most of the hints were completely incorrect

I love Indie Wiki Buddy, it auto redirects fandom links to the newer official independent wikis for things that have them (minecraft is one example). God I hate fandom so much truly the worst wiki experience.

Maybe this counts as a “worse version of uBlock” but I use AdNauseam, which in addition to blocking all the ads, it registers as clicking them too, which fucks up their tracking and costs them money. I remember seeing somewhere that the ad blocking itself was based on uBlock, but I couldn’t find it on the extention page so i may have imagined it.

I head that “I don’t care about cookies” got bought by Avast or something and had some spyware in it or something (can’t quite remember I looked into it a while back).

I think there’s another version called “I still don’t care about cookies” that avoids that.
