Wow I had already forgotten completely about this. I thought some of the memes would endure… But alas, it was not meant to be.

That’s what I noticed too, pretty terrible as now you are pretty much forced to fully open posts like comics. Hopefully it wasn’t intentional.
Edit: if you go into setting you can turn off “convert posts to webp” to fix it
Wait, where are the elephants holding up the turtle!?
Inertia is a hell of a thing, like the saying “nobody ever got fired for buying IBM”. Or the Cisco tax.
Or as I like to say, two buns short of a hamburger
Especially in those times in Cuba. They are only now in recent years getting mechanized in farming.
The front fell off you see
Yeah it made me a lot happier. Wouldn’t live in a city or suburbs again even if the rent was free. I started out fully nomadic in 2017 but now I stay put most of the time. I’m currently scouting for land to build a cabin to stay in year round.
I’m an older adult on the spectrum and being out in nature, away from all the people, and a simpler life has dramatically bettered my mental health so I’m looking to make it permenant. I don’t like the unanchored feeling and routine distruption that comes from the nomadic process.
I’ll watch just for Mila ❤️
Mexico when it realizes its neighbour is nuts
Good, hopefully the brain drain continues at Intel so the competition increases
If they do, they would probably go nighty night too after that dose
I’d love to be a fly on the wall in the actuary offices of these companies. Not enough popcorn in the world.
The funny part is Germany has the lowest amount of working hours in the world
In Germany, on the other hand, it was just under 1,354 hours per year (26 per week and 3.7 per day), which was the lowest of all the countries studied.

Yeah the general sentiment was that it was a much better quality of life here in Canada
I’ve worked with a very large amount of people from India from the demographic combination of both being in IT and spending most of my career in the Toronto area.
There is a reason they moved here (Men and Women both) and didn’t stay in India. Many go back to visit family regularly, but I’ve worked with hundreds and I don’t know of a single one that ever did return or planned to return to India.
I assumed it was because of the spelling mistake. Up my ally and up my alley are two very different things.
