21 days agoEthical consumption is impossible under capitalism. We can and should try our best to minimize the amount these shitty companies profit, but completely divesting from them all is impossible.

Surprised that they missed Caterpillar in this list, given it’s significantly larger than John Deere. And yeah, I agree that it wasn’t “caving,” more a convenient excuse to throw their employees under the bus in the quest for short-term profit above all else.
1·3 months agoI was mistaken. Vibratex, which made the original Hitachi Magic Wand, is still making them today. They just dropped the “Hitachi” from the name.
Even though they’re made by a different company now they’re still pretty good ;)

241·4 months agoIt turns out that his wall charger was wired incorrectly, so mains voltage was wired to the ground of the vehicle, and well the chassis is the vehicle’s ground, hence the voltage. source

My friends call me crazy for mixing fried spam into Mac and cheese.
I moved to the Midwest a few years ago and my friends keep hazing me with ranch. They mail gallons of ranch to my house, photoshop ranch my pictures, even give me ranch related clothing. All this because I said I didn’t like ranch on my pizza. The Midwest has a ranch obsession and it must be stopped!
