This comment needs more upvotes inmho. This is exactly right. It’s how I followed this history myself. They built on Privacy first. Now there are red flags which were not clear before.

I’m also annoyed with how they pile so much into the service that for some of us, they’re extras which aren’t needed. I just want to simplify my email into Tuta now I think, and Mullvad for VPN. While having those together was convenient, it’s no different on my phone or pc to use two different apps for those.

Same with medication. Different drugs. Different doses. Different biome in each body. Each brain is different.

I think I’ve tried roughly 7. For periods of time. Sometimes shorter due to side effects. I now take one that works for me. It’s not perfect but it’s best so far I suppose. Took me a long time to figure that out. So please don’t give up on medications. Find one that works for you. Not just numbs you of everything.

Has Jon even showed interest in doing that? I feel like he’s passionate on some issues like for the 9/11 responders. I haven’t ever heard him talking like he wants to be president or a senator or anything.

Some days I put true effort into checking things deeper. Sometimes I’m more ‘cursory’ looking. Usually I try not to comment without looking to avoid this exact situation.

I think this is why we ended up with Trump. Democrats are tone-deaf. They are more predictable and ‘good’ in the broader sense, but that doesn’t mean they are perfect at all. I am a democrat, and I’m very frustrated with this. I still voted Kamala, despite lack of choice. For whatever good it did.
