Man I haven’t really watched films properly myself for a long time but when I started writing I suddenly had a load of recs - but you’ve got a lot of great ones already so I’ll limit myself to two:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - this is my personal #1 but it’s a bit love it / hate it. Great performances from Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey

Soul - feel good, beautiful, clever and funny, a real shame it came out quietly during the pandemic because IMO it’s the best Pixar / Disney movie of the CG era and deserved much more fanfare

I’ve long suspected I’m trapped in a dream tbh and this confirms it: every single time I look at my watch - or ANY clock or time keeping device, the time is different. It’s constantly changing. I’d ask for help but you’re all just figments of my imagination

I have an electric oven with an automatic shut off timer and it is literally a lifesaver. If I set alarms on my phone I’ll inevitably ignore them due to hyperfocus on something else and forget I even put the oven on until I go back to it the next day so it’s saved me from fiery death on many occasions - not to mention my electricity bill.
