You gotta proofread your comments. I had to read that three times to figure out you meant, “when safe I let cars pass as a courtesy.”

Basically, their justification for not listening to the community boils down to, “but it will slow down car traffic!”
They completely ignored the fact that reliable public transit and cycling/walking infrastructure are basically the only ways to reduce car traffic, by getting drivers out of their cars and into the far more efficient options.

Folks, that’s not loincloths work. It’s a single strip of cloth that starts in the front, goes over the loop of cord, then through the legs and up over the loop of cord in the back. It’s not just two flaps of fabric hanging down in the front and back.

6·11 months agoI have been using an onn 4k streaming box, which runs Google TV. They’re $20. It’s pretty easy to disable the default launcher and have it boot to Flauncher. Then you can side load smart tube for an ad free YouTube experience asking with Plex, stremio, or whatever else you want to stream.

91·1 year agoOwning a gun at home is statistically more dangerous to you or someone you love than to an intruder.
Something missing from this concern about statistics is that it lumps together the people who leave loaded guns on their bedside table with those who take reasonable precautions like storing their guns in safes or using trigger locks.
I think for those who take those precautions and follow the safe handling rules, guns are safe enough to have at home.

I use Lutris and Steam to cover everything and it works great. Don’t see a need to unify on desktop Linux, unlike the Steam deck.
