Yes, I just checked the Wiki and it’s “cheek-oriented laryngoceles”.
Funny coincidence: I’ve watched a documentary (Soundtrack to a Coup d’Etat (2024)) yesterday that included footage of his shows.
I thought: Did they somehow edit his cheeks to look this extremely big when he’s blowing the trumpet? But I guess that’s just the way it looked. Very impressive.
I added it before. This comment of yours is also tagged as “English”.
Thanks for helping out.
It’s shown as “English” for me. I have added “Undetermined” to the allowed languages.
Edit: jus make sure you don’t unselect “Undetermined” as a language option.
Why that? I did that for my community, and only selected “English”.
I like the version from the English punk band Generation X.
I imagine this is like a scene from a horror movie: While you’re looking at them, they’re still, but after not looking at them for a moment, they are closer. And eventually the inevitable jumpscare happens.
I haven’t used piefed myself but I wouldn’t want to switch to it because I feel like it gives more power to downvotes and karma (or “reputation” as they call it):
- Comments with -10 score are collapsed by default.
- People who get downvoted a lot end up with a ‘low reputation’ indicator next to their name. You’ll know it when you see it.
- Upvotes in meme communities do not add to reputation.
Those are three of the twelve points listed as differences to lemmy on their features page.
I also don’t agree with some of the points in their article on “PieFed features for growing healthy communities”.
The embedded video if it works:
I can confirm this behaviour. But yes, it would be better if it automatically disappeared after hiding.
Maybe there are alternative frontends that do this?
That would be a bit excessive. Maybe just one (or multiple, if necessary) post with a list of the websites in the body of the post, or create a pastebin with that list and post the pastebin.
The source for (at least a part of) the tracks:
Attention K-Mart Shoppers Internet Archive collection
OK, I have to admit this this is a strange collection. In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, I worked for Kmart behind the service desk and the store played specific pre-recorded cassettes issued by corporate. This was background music, or perhaps you could call it elevator music. Anyways, I saved these tapes from the trash during this period and this video shows you my extensive, odd collection.
The nearest shop of any kind whatsoever is 1.3km away
I don’t think that should be a relevant factor for the availability of proper sidewalks.
Is making a choice the same as making a decision? Hmmm…
No, it’s about hexbear.
I’m the mod of c/anniversaries.
I created my previous account when feddit.de - my first instance - had persistent technical problems and I basically thought “the fewer instances defed’ed, the better,” so I decided on joining feddit.nl.
But the reactions to the post about this anniversary made me change my mind and now I’m here.
