Do you have to deal with daylight savings time? That shit literally causes a spike in accidents 2x every year, but we still do it because tradition or some shit. It’s not enough that you have to meet temporal demands, but you also have to transpose by one hour twice. The worst is “Fall Back” in my experience. “You get an extra hour!” is bullshit. I’m getting the hour that was stolen back finally without any interest. Then you walk outside at 530PM, and it’s dark as hell. The cruelty is the point etc.

Having everyone asleep at the same time seems like a weird thing to me. I’m most comfortable with a later schedule. I think napping is really valuable if you are feeling a need at some point during your wake times. I wish I could figure out how to make money and not have to fit my schedule to some arbitrary demands. What are the sleep schedules of bonobos like? They probably have it figured out better than us.
