Listening to this while going top speed through the level, doin sick ninja moves fuckin wrecking shop, it’s some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing video games, the whole game is such a treat when you unlock all the movement upgrades and get good at flying around everywhere

The best new laptop is the one sold by your local ewaste recycler after being checked over and refurbed with a fresh install of Mint! If you don’t have one of those shops handy then buy refurbed online. I hear Thinkpads are good though. My shop has never had one when I’ve needed new gear.

sorry to hear about the mood… hope things turn around. couldn’t hurt to listen to some new music to distract from the pain a bit! their new album is at times pretty dark musically and lyrically. if you’re anything like me, that kind of stuff can be healing.

thanks for the recs, I’ll check those out. I was a freshman in high school circa 1985. I dunno how old magdalena and bay are but they’ve listened to a lot of pop music from those days. ID was the first thing I heard from them. still working through their back catalog but I’m impressed. Top Dog put a big smile on this old face. cheers

I saw a comment somewhere here referencing Imaginal Disk as an album ‘every music nerd should listen to,’ I’m paraphrasing but that was the gist… one week later and I’m obsessed, it has completely taken over my brain and I’m rocking the whole album start to finish multiple times a day. It’s been years since music hit me like this.

I’ve visited once and wasn’t there long enough to develop a sincere and true hate, but I was astonished by its geology and climate. While I was there I tried to contemplate what it was like before the settlers came. Just imagine standing at the tops of those hills with the basin stretching out beneath you. That scene is intoxicating to me even now, years later. And I know that same feeling is one of the reasons it’s not that way today.
